FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (MID- LEVEL)
Our client has over 10 years business process outsourcing experience and a corporate umbrella of service centre's currently operating in Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Malaysia, Taipei, and a tech' centre in San Francisco.
They are now establishing a multi lingual customer services/contact centre in Prague and looking for a Financial Accountant with 3+ years experience to help shape their future in Czech Republic.
Responsibilities
• Prepares Budget and ensures that spending is maintained within the approved limits and such appropriate approvals exist for any deviations.
• Introduces cost-savings projects and develops financial policies and processes to safeguard company's interests.
• Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, but is not limited to company and government mandated reports.
• Reports Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L Accounts Reconciliation and Variances Analysis.
• Maintain and monitor accurate reporting of the financial records of the company
• Ensures accurate and timely reporting of Taxation, government premiums and employees' salary loans, and other governmental reports.
• Ensures accurate and timely payroll payment to employees and final payment to separated employees.
• Ensures timely payment of vendors / suppliers and reconcile accounts ledgers.
• Prepares special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts.
• Develops and manages financial practices, financial tools, accounting procedures and internal controls
• Work with Human Resource to establishes/enhances policies and ensure compliance with government regulations
• Interacts with the different department managers both local and international.
• Work closely with Auditors to ensure compliance with local and internal regulations and responsible for following the annual financial audit process
• Updates job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years' experience on handling Finance and Accounting with at least 1 year experience in the BPO industry.
• Native Czech & very strong English language skills (verbal & written)
• Experience in all phases of accounting, including taxation including local taxes.
• Experience in handling government statutory reporting and remittances.
• Must be able to work independently and under minimum supervision.
• You must be able to promote a culture that encourages and ensures staff satisfaction
• You must have the ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment.
• You should have a pro-active mindset to anticipate what needs to be done rather than merely reacting after the fact
• You should be able to multi-task and be aware of all aspects of workload and available resources at all times
• You should have a flexible schedule, and willing to sacrifice your own time to help the company in its infancy in CZ and beyond.
• You should have good communications skills, as other will depend on you to deliver their instructions.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Must be a graduate of accountancy.
