Responsibilities will include working with a remote team located in London and set a base for creating a new team in Prague focusing on functional programming within quantitative analysis (QA), developing, optimizing, and re-engineering the QA library used by investors.
Requirements will include very strong numerical skills with an educational background ideally in Mathematics, Physics, Computer science or similar. Experience in numerical methods is a must with an understanding of algorithmic complexity. Minimum of 1+ years development experience using functional language techniques (experience with Haskell, OCaml, Standard ML, F#, or Scheme). Knowledge of large functional programs is welcomed plus past working experience with Perl and Unix-style toolchains.
