Campaign Engineer - Integration & management for over the air technology
Position is ideal for a person with a technical background in Linux/UNIX, working with databases such as SQL or Oracle and have great communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Take part in project management on short term campaigns that last roughly 6 months. This will include integrating existing software and hardware components to design, implement and create new solutions for our clients products focused on digital security
- Work in an international team reporting to the project manager and occasioanlly traveling to client sites, implementing new products.
- Be responsible for unitary testing, project tuning and following up with the customer after implementation. You will be involved in process improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years experience with project lifecycle development, managing projects from beginning to end
- Knowledge of the UNIX OS environment (ideally with HP UX, Sun Solaris, Linux)
- Strong knowledge of database technologies including SQL and Oracle databases
- Expereince with shell scripting
- Basic theory or knowledge of programming (Java, C/C++, XML) but not as a programmer!! (This position will not require development!)
- Excellent communication skills, able to work independently or consult onsite with clients
- Past project expereince with system integration and deployment, working with clients on launching projects from start to finish
- Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage
- University degree in IT or Computer Science is an advantage
- EU passport holder (our client cannot sponsor work visa’s at this time)
- Past project expereince in the area of over the air technology or network protocols is an advantage
