Over the years, I have lost count of the amount of times that I have spoken with prospective clients who have been reluctant to deal or even talk with recruiters mainly because of a previous bad experience whether in the UK or here in CEE region and I’m on a mission to change the bad press!
In July 2005, ICT Recruitment began in modest surroundings however, with the very first business development calls, the aim and message was simple - to provide trouble-free, honest & effective recruitment solutions to businesses involved in IT & Telecoms, or in fact any organization with an internal IT function.
In those days I realized that there was enough room in the market for a small dedicated consultancy to make a difference by keeping to the basic recruitment principles, maintaining a more personal but professional approach and vastly improving the quality of service. It’s true that we may not be the first Recruitment consultancy that organizations contact or the most obvious choice but I am proud of the fact that once they have, perceptions soon change and in a very positive way.
Whenever you are in contact with ICT, you will feel that our consultants were selected not only because of their bright intellect, sparkling wit or their ability to consult and come up with positive results but also because of their personalities and life experiences. The common traits of our consultants usually include: a good sense of humour, naturally friendly & respectful, an enquiring mind, great listening skills, attention to detail, motivated by success but not at the expense of others.
What makes us different? Well we are not trying to re-invent recruitment or trying to be, "all things to all people". In short, we tend to keep to the basics, do our jobs very well and enjoy doing them! But these are just my feelings.
